The Easton Foundation: 394 West 20th Street, NYC
Join NMWA for an intimate, small-group tour given by The Easton Foundation of Louise Bourgeois's former home in New York. After a brief introduction with the full group, guests divide into two smaller groups and enter the house at staggered intervals, allowing for a close look at the spaces where Bourgeois lived and worked.
Details:
Duration: 45 minutes to 1 hour
Group Size: Limited to 12 guests
• Doors open at the appointed time and tours begin promptly. Early arrivals wait outside, and late arrivals may not be admitted.
• Large bags, purses, and coats must be stored on site for the duration of the tour.
• Cell phones, food and drink are not permitted.
• Photography is not allowed, except in the sculpture garden.
Accessibility:
The tour includes several staircases, so comfortable shoes are recommended. Only the Foundation gallery entrance is wheelchair accessible. If you have any mobility concerns, please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
Tickets: $10 for Members; $20 for Non-Members
For those who are interested, we will be gathering for a self-treat snack/cocktail after our tour. Please email no later than October 25 to indicate your interest in joining.

The New York Committee of The National Museum of Women in the Arts participated in a curator led tour of the 2026 Independent Art Fair. Independent is considered one of the premiere events of New York’s art week in May. This year featured over 70 galleries from around the world.
